Michael Mina is an infectious diseases, tropical medicine and general physician at Blacktown and Northern Beaches Hospitals, Holdsworth House Medical Practice, as well as St Luke’s Hospital. He has a clinical and research interest in hepatitis, HIV and tuberculosis and has published in these fields. He has worked overseas in Europe, Africa and Asia and also spends time working amongst Aboriginal communities in the Top End and Central Australia. Michael has qualifications from both the UK and Australia, including MB ChB (Honours), FRACP, MRCP, DTM&H and MIPH (Honours) and he has completed his PhD in hepatitis at the Kirby Institute, UNSW.
